Customer Thank You Cards and Pick A Pattern

Today I'm sharing the customer Thank You cards that went out last month.

Using the Pick a Pattern Suite which includes the Pieces & Patterns stamp set and coordinating Designer Series Paper, it is really fun and easy to put together a set of cards in no time!

The DSP and Stamp Set are retiring - I'm really going to miss this set. It was really gorgeous with some cute and whimsical images that are versatile - not just for cards - planners and children's craft too.

DSP Card Packs are so fun and easy and leave you with a big stack of gorgeous cards after a relaxing craft session. Nice!

2018 Colour Revamp

There are some exciting changes coming to Stampin' Up! in this year's 2018/2019 Annual Catalogue (available 1st June 2018)

Two changes which you'll want to keep in mind for your orders:

1. Colour Revamp
2. Classic Stampin' Pad REDESIGN

Here are the Colour Revamp details:

• 27 Core Colours will be staying
• 13 Core Colours will be going away
• Adding 10 New Core Colours
• Adding 6 returning In-Colors which will become Core Colours

 So the new colours will look like this.

 

Classic Stampin' Pad Redesign

Why the change?

With the production molds about to expire, Stampin' Up decided to use the opportunity to look for improvements to the case design.

What are the changes?

We wanted the new case to:

• Be less confusing to open.

Opening the new ink pad case is now more simple and intuitive—just insert your thumb in the “lip” at the front of the case and lift it to open.

• Have a tighter fit between the lid and the base.

With the new design, the lid doesn’t accidentally become disconnected which was a common problem with the old case style. With use, the lid will be easier to slide open and close.

• Be stackable.

The ability to stack the cases makes them easier to store and transport. We designed a nub in each
bottom corner that fits nicely into the “dimple” on the top of another case.

• Include improved labels and stickers.

Here are a few of the ways we’ve done that:

• We’ve redesigned the front label with a cleaner, bolder design and larger colour swatch, making it easier to see the ink’s colour.

• We’ve included a new In Color icon.

• We’re continuing to provide colour stickers that you can place on the end of each case to easily identify the ink’s colour at a glance.

• We’re providing a new colour sticker you can place on the inside of the pad, so your customers can easily distinguish the ink’s colour when the case is open.

Is the ink different?

Since we were improving the case we decided to make improvements to the ink as well!

We added defoamer to the ink ingredients because we noticed that our old ink would sometimes bubble (especially on new pads and with lighter colours). When this happened, the ink wasn’t as even and smooth when stamped as we’d like to see it.

The added defoamer will:

• Reduce ink bubbles
• Help you get an even coating of ink on the stamp
• Help the stamped image have a smoother, solid look

So here is a closer at the new design...

It's a lot of new information, but I think the refresh and redesign has really pushed Stampin' Up! further in front, with really modern and fresh colour palettes and a fantastic new case design that will brighten up your creative workspace.

Remember to order your ink refills for any retiring colours you want to continue using before they are gone. I know from previous years that as soon as the retiring list comes out, the ink refills go quickly and almost ALWAYS sell out by the time the new Annual Catalogue is released.

Last Chance Items - Retiring List

Very exciting! The new Annual Catalogue (which starts 1 June 2018) is available for preview for Stampin Up Demonstrators today. It is fantastic! I know that you are going to LOVE it!

Of course, with the fresh new line up (and some exciting changes) coming soon, that also signals the time to say goodbye to some of our favourites.

The retiring list is out today, which means it is your last chance to purchase items from the 2018 Occasions Catalogue and the 2017/2018 Annual Catalogue.

It’s always a little sad to see some of the products we love go, but the new Catalogue has much to look forward to.

Here are the full lists, however, remember that stocks are limited. Once a product has sold out, it's gone.

So while you will see every colour stamp pad on the list, it's simply because those ink pad cases are retiring, not ALL the colours. Phew!
